does CFO stamps passport at the AIRPORT???

hello VJ peeeps!

just wonderin... if any of you here have done what i did... had the seminar way back... and will just go back for the stamping as soon as i get the visa... the question is... can i just do that at the airport on the day im leaving so as not to waste time going back to CFO office??? and if so... what are the requirements????

anyone??? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated... thanks...

April 24, 2008 - interview and VISA APPROVED!

May 02, 2008 - visa in hand, had the CFO stamping done at once, bought ticket online...

May 03, 2008 - flew to US to be with stinky love...

July 22, 2008 - Sent AOS Package to CHICAGO Lockbox

July 24, 2008 - received package

July 29, 2008 - NOA for AOS and EAD

Aug 01, 2008 - Touched....

Oct 01, 2008 - Received EAD

still waiting on AOS

I am not sure if its possible to get CFO Stamp at the airport, just to make sure you can email CFO and ask them

Get your CFO stamp at Citigold Center,1345 President Quirino Ave. corner South Superhighway,Manila. Dont forget to photocopy your visa.

You cant get stamp at the airport, when the immigration will check your passport if they see that you dont have cfo sticker yet,, you have to get your luggage back and they will tell you to go back if you already have it.

Trust me because there was a lady that dont had the cfo sticker when i was at NAIA..the immigration section told her to get it or else you cant travel even you have the visa already.

Eventually her flight was cancelled.

Is your CFO Seminar before the one for the "PDOS" (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar)? If it was, then you might or they might make you attend the "Guidance and Counseling Seminar for Filipino Fiances/Spouses of Foreign Nationals". If the latter is the one you had attended, then you have to bring the "Certificate of Counseling" (attendance) to CFO (either at QC or Quirino Ave in Manila) for the CFO stamp. Bring a photocopy as well of your visa. They don't do stamping at the airport. You will not be allowed to depart/travel if you don't have the CFO stamp in your passport.

only CFO will give u sticker so go to CFO office and bring with u the CFO seminar certificate to show that u have done seminar. goodluck

in my experienced too, there's this couple of ladies (on their 60's) goin to the US and when the officer checked them, they dont have a CFO stamp or went to a seminar, and they actually doesnt have any clue what a CFO for but they couldnt check-in coz the officer wouldnt let them no matter what and i really felt sorry for them... im not sure what their visa for, but its like they have to have a CFO approval to travel... i wish you luck and God bless!!! have a safe trip!!!

:wacko: Do not go to the Airport with the stamp for CFO. You can not get there at the Airport. :crying: It like playing Monoploy, " Go to Jail do not pass GO" in other words, No CFO stamp you can go and fly and leave the Philippines you will have to go to CFO and get your stamp and more than likely miss your flight. :blink: Good luck and God bless :thumbs::star:
