hi guys... just confused here... can i sign the Forms now or do i have to sign the Forms infront of the Pre screeners on the interview date??? Does it matter???

April 24, 2008 - interview and VISA APPROVED!

May 02, 2008 - visa in hand, had the CFO stamping done at once, bought ticket online...

May 03, 2008 - flew to US to be with stinky love...

July 22, 2008 - Sent AOS Package to CHICAGO Lockbox

July 24, 2008 - received package

July 29, 2008 - NOA for AOS and EAD

Aug 01, 2008 - Touched....

Oct 01, 2008 - Received EAD

still waiting on AOS

Fill out all your forms now. The embassy has given each applicant enough time inorder to prepare the necessary documents. They don't want any means that would cause delays during the interview.

April 06, 2010 - mailed I-751 documents via usps express mail(overnight)with delivery confirmation

April 07, 2010 - packet delivered and signed

April 12, 2010 - check was cashed

April 13, 2010 - received NOA1 (dated 04/08/10)

May 07, 2010 - Biometrics

May 10, 2010 - Touched

June 23, 2010 - APPROVED WITHOUT INTERVIEW!!!

Fill out all your forms now. The embassy has given each applicant enough time inorder to prepare the necessary documents. They don't want any means that would cause delays during the interview.

thank you!! i think ive read somewhere someone saying that you need to sign in it front of the pre screener why i asked... but i will sign it now... thank you for the reply...

if your petition is Fiance(e) visa (k1) there is an additional form DS156K and at the bottom part of the document it says 'do not write anything below this line' because this has to be signed during the pre-screening of your documents.

If my memory serves me right, all my DS forms were signed before my interview. Even if you don't sign it yet, there's a personnel at USEM who will go through each applicant's DS forms to check if you filled out the necessary information. They will even instruct you if you on what to do.

Mine too. So, I guess it's really OK to sign everything now, even before the interview. They even made you sign a DS 156 Form at St. Luke's.
