you vent anytime you want girl...that's part of the reason we're all here. (F) M.

I know-thanks  I don't know what I would do without this site-I love my friends and family but it is like I am speaking another language when I bring up immigration forms and processing times-but I know that everyone here understands perfectly.

I never heard of the fingerprinting thing before I posted about it this week. If I had known-I wouldn't be this upset about it. Even though the paperwork was sent back 4/20...............his interview would have been the same time he is now getting fingerprints

sorry colleen, but both abby (pax) and i have explained (or tried to explain) this to you before. i don't believe that this is the first time that you've heard of the fingerprinting because i personally told you 2 months ago in another one of your threads, ironically named: got bad news:

irishgirl ...

as pax said earlier, my husband geoff was denied at the philly airport after being delayed and questioned for 2 hours, fingerprinted, and then sent home. he had used the VWP 3 times in a row ... only having returned to the UK for about 4-7days at a time. we were completely clueless to immigration back then!

once he got denied, he went to the embassy for a visitor visa ... you guessed it: denied. he was also told that he could not return to the US without the appropriate visa (K type visa). therein started our visa journey. we received our NOA2 within 41 days without any out of the ordinary delays. after our case was sent to the embassy, geoff received an FBI fingerprint clearance letter and had to go to london to be fingerprinted again.

here will be here soon and you will survive!! i promise! save your money and vacation time for when he comes home. if not ... try aerlingus out of JFK ... they have great rates!

I did not remember reading this post at all-probably b/c I was freaked out that day. I am not even that upset about him having to get the fingerprints-it is the fact that we have to sit around and waste another month while nothing is happening with our case-that is why I am upset. I called today & apparently they only do the fingerprints once a month-which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Our cases seem pretty similar except we waited 90 days for our noa2.

Thanks for your help
