DS 230 part I accidentally not signed - problem?

I was just talking to my fiance and we were discussing packet 3 and the forms he sent back to the Embassy in London yesterday morning.

I asked him if he'd signed all the proper forms and he told me which he signed and which he hadn't and mentioned the DS-230 pt I.

Will this cause us to get an RFE? or would they at this point just give him the interview date and wait until he's there to sign it?

I'm not entirely worried about it, the stress is beyond me right now and I'm just still relieved that we've gotten this far in such a short amount of time.

Just one of those things that I'm wondering if anyone else has been through and what happened to you.

Thanks in advance :)

I am not familiar with K-1 process, but in family immigration process an unsigned DS-230 is a definite reason for an RFE. If I were you, I will get another one out as soon as I can.

Thanks for the response Sanjiv :)

For K-1 we only need to complete Part 1 of DS-230...I guess he was just looking at the end of Part2 where it says do not sign until instructed by consulate and the signature spot for part 1 is so small and easily missed.

Oh well, I'll have him make another copy and sign it.

Should we send it back right away or wait till we get the RFE notice?
