congrats on the interview date!!!

well as for me, i paid the visa fee after i was done and passed my med exam... lol... we were just paranoid and being "safe" as usual... lol... it could be anytime though for as long as you'll pay it before the interview coz there's this girl who during my interview and she didnt pay the visa yet so they didnt honor an interview for her (i felt sorry for her but i guess she thought she could pay it at the embassy or something)... good luck and God bless!!!

This is one question I wanted to ask, thanks for asking nova71...

Just a follow up question though, there are more choices of BPI branches that accepts visa fee payments in Metro Manila... anybody have idea which branch is the least crowded?

There is only one BPI branch that caters to all US visa applicants from region XI, its in Davao City and it tends to be too crowded day in and day out. I was considering paying the visa fee when we get there for our medical. There's 4 BPI branches within Manila City that is on the list.

Any advise which of this branch would be best?

Hi Ate,

When you get here in Manila, you will have lots of choices as many BPI banks here, and the list of branches of BPI bank online were not complete. Its not only 4, there are many branches of BPI that accepts visa payment in Manila area.

As for best to go, as long its a bank branch not located inside the mall. :D then you are good to pay..

And If ever you find one and has lines, don't worry , i dont think it's as long as NSO and DFA lines. LOL. :D

Is it $131.00 for the whole family (fiancee + 2 kids) under K2 derivative application? Or will it be $131.00 for each of us for a total of $393.00? Thanks.

i would also pay the document verification fee when you pay the visa fee. get it out of the way and one month ahead of your interview.

$393.00 total coz it will be 3 separate visa.... and it will also be 3 separate medical so be prepared to shell out more for that one also.

i could feel your financial stress if you are having one.... I am the fiancee (beneficiary) and I have two kids (visa derivatives). On my end, i've been saving up for our allowance to manila so my big bear won't have to be more stressed out. He is not complaining but I just don't want to burden him some more.

Good luck on your journey. And God bless always.
