trulo, I believe you will have to prove domicile to remove conditions on your temp 2 year green card. Meaning, once you get your approved visa and arrive at POE you will be stamped in your passport. You can then fly right back outta there if you want. The green card will be mailed to you a couple weeks later. However, you will need to show proof of US residence and living when you file to lift conditions 2 years later. This is where you will have a problem. Just as much as a K1 applicant has to prove their relationship with fiance is valid you will have to prove your US domicile and having a job in the US, apartment, house, car payments, utility bills, insurance, will all need to be shown to prove your are indeed living in the US and living with your spouse. If you are living primarily in JA and working in JA then you will likely have issues getting conditions lifted on your green card and your 10 year card would likely be denied.

I'm afraid this is called "having your cake and eating it"

You either want to live and work in the USA, or you want to live and work in jamaica. The keyword is "commitment". If you're not committed to living and working and contributing to the american economy and society, then USCIS won't commit to you and give you a greencard

sorry.

on a more positive note, the job you love in jamaica will probably exist in the USA, this is a golden opportunity for you :)
