To those CR1 and the embassy is US embassy in Manila..I just have a question. What is the estimate time that the petitioner can receive the appointment letter for the beneficiary's interview schedule from the time the case is complete? Would it take one month from the time the case is complete? Our case was complete March 25, 2008 at NVC. When can the petitioner may receive the appointment letter? And when may the beneficiary has her interview?

Thank you very much for your answers..

Usually, the embassy, once they see how many appointment slots they have open for the month, notify NVC, who then set the appointments and send the case to the embassy. Normally, they set these the 2nd week of the month. If you start checking NVC's automated phone system daily, chances are the message will change to "case forwarded to embassy" and you can start checking embassy site for your appointment date and your packet will follow ususually within a week and then another week until the beneficiary receives a packet. I woould think chances are good that you will have a June interview date.

We got our a month after the Case was completed. But to see the schedule in advance have your case number ready and call NVC or check the website for the schedule of appointment here http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp
