Hey dudes,

My mom's filling out the affidavit of support as co-sponsor (about time ) and was wondering if I'm considered wholly dependent or partially dependent on her.

I'm a senior in college and she's a very wonderful mommy and totally takes care of my lazy butt. But I'm graduating in a month and I do have a part-time job as it is now, and I've pretty much got a full scholarship. BUT again, when I graduate I'm moving back in with her, at least for awhile.

I'm leaning towards partially dependent? Or am I dependent at ALL? She has no other dependents. What do you guys think we should put? Or should we attach a note explaining all of the above just to be clear?

Have a star :star:

Oh yeh I forgot. My mom put me down as a dependent on her taxes already too, so I definately have to say I'm one of them.

(She also screwed me out of my $300 rebate check by doing so )

That's right! :D:dance::thumbs: I found out last weekend when my mom found some obscure clause. Even if we make the $3000 salary a year, which I do, to qualify for the $300, you ain't gettin it!

I got over it pretty fast. Sheesh I'm a suburban kid and incredibly lucky as it is and I think it saves them money if they claim us as dependents, so power to them.
