Renewal of I-551 with Infopass Appointment Scheduler

I sent in the fom for lifting the conditional status of permanent residency (I-751) 90 days prior to expiration. The I797C, Notice of Action, that I received last week, contains the approval and the order to obtain a new alien registration receipt card (Form I-551). To do so, appear in person at the Service Office below (INS office in Houston). The envelope contained also another document "How to make an appointment at this INS office" (form FC-057 TSC). It contains the request to schedule an appointment with InfoPass [http://infopass.uscis.gov/] which requires a "Receipt Number" which I cannot find on the I-797C. I do find the "File Number" which is my Alien#.

Does anybody have any suggestion what to fill in "Receipt Number" to schedule an appointment?

Thanks,

Daniel

Isn't the receipt number near the upper left corner of the NOA? It should begin with 3 letters.

That's were it was - I believe - on other NOAs, too...strangely not on this document. Hmmm, I'll try to see if I can still schedule an appointment properly. I just don't want to take any chances - the more accurate all applicants are, the easier the process. Fortunately, I had no trouble at all during my 3 year process - besides incredible amounts of time filling out all proper forms and gather documents - with 110% triple proof reading - German accuracy :-)

Anyhow, G, I like your signature:
