VJers,

Can I schedule for a Medical and Interview in Manila while I am here in Japan?

How long does it take for you to complete the requirements needed for the interview?

I will go back to the Philippines on May 24, Is it possible if i will schedule it within that week too?

I haven't gotten my Packet yet in Manila but I already have my MNL case #.. If i do receive the Packet, can i RESCHEDULE the appointment if it will be before May 24?

Thanks Much!

Yes, you can arrange your medical from abroad provided you can afford the long-distance phone call! YOU choose when you have the medical but the date for the interview is set by the embassy once you return the paperwork they ask for - it is possible to request this is changed if you are unable to make the date they offer. Check the guides for the paperwork that will be requested and get it ready now to avoid unnecessary delay.

you dont need an appointment for the medical. You just need to do it at least one week before your interview. There is a 800 number your fiance or you can call to schedule the interview. It costs 18 dollars to get the pin to use this service. its 1888-877-9888

Besides calling to schedule your interview, the new procedure is to download your packet from the USEM website. Here is the link:
