Irish renewing their passport in the US

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I sent my Irish passport to the consulate in SF to have it renewed. They told me it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Tomorrow is 6 weeks and no passport in sight so I emailed them. Got a response telling me it will take 6 to 8 weeks. Has anyone done this recently and if so how long did it take you? Even if you went through a different Irish consulate please let me know.

Thanks,

Dave

If you live abroad, your application for a renewal passport should be made to your nearest Irish embassy or Consulate.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
