I know I asked this before but I just noticed that on the Certificate of Naturalization it says in bold red letter on botton left corner "IT IS PUNISHABLE BY US LAW TO COPY, PRINT OR PHOTOGRAPH THIS CERTIFICATE WITHOUT LAWFUL AUTHORITY"... I was planning on sending in a color copy of the certificate as proof of my citizenship.. Has anyone had a problem with this in the past? Can I send it in?

Also, which number do I use in form I-129F .. the cert has two number one is in RED and all it says is No. ######### and other says CIS REgistration number and it begins with A########.

thx

filling an I-129F means you have authorization, dont worry about that. we just took a black and white copy from front and back (even though there's ntohing on the back).

we had no problems, so i'm guessing that was the right thing to do.

about the number: you need the red one as your certificate number. the other one (A) is you green card number (i think) and you need to fill it in on the I-129F and the biograph form. (where it says A number)

good luck
