I am about to submit my AOS Package with my co-sponsor..but i dont know what are the necessary documents i need to ask from them. Hope anybody can help me out so i can inform my co-sponsor for the documents i need to include in the package....I dont want to get RFE just for missing documents *sad*

You may want to read the instructions included with form I-864, it detalis what is needed from Joint sponsor, it is the same as primary sponsor.

(Part year's IRS return OR transcript, optional are employer letter, and/or recent pay stubs, if they are using assets then proof of the assets will be needed)

my wife's dad was our co-sponsor, ( employment letter, paystubs, federal tax/tax transcripts for 3 consecutive years, ssa statement (addition! not a requirement).

for your petioner make sure he has a letter of explanation for low income. thats what we did. hope this helps a bit
