waiting for interview to be scheduled

My fiance is in nigeria and the consulate has received approval of the i-129f, i will be going there in 2 wks and want to know if my fiance and i can go to the embassy to find out the interview date.. what forms/documents are needed at this point and should i take them with me to the embasy? just trying to speed up the process...

I suggest you call or email the Consulate, getting inside an U.S. Embassy just to make a consultation is not that easy! They usually have certain days at times each week where they give information. Try to find out first, before going there.

You can go M-Th, but make sure that you are there before 11 a.m. as this is when they will call for inquiries and when they do, get in the inquiry line to see if ur fiance can pick up his packets. Make sure he comes with the approval notice and the letter from the NVC which will have the case number on it and also he will need to bring his passport as ID.

You are not allowed to attend the interview in Nigeria . You can be in the country or waiting outside but you can't be with him
