Hi all

I have my Green card interview in Chicago this thursday. I am busy re-photocopying many documents and forms from my everexpanding file folder. It's so redundant, including new forms as well as copies of every old document I've had to submit along the way. The interview letter asked for a completed form I864 and supporting evidence of income. Of course we had just sent the I864 and supporting evidence when I sent the I485/I765 package. Because my husband (the US citizen) is self employed and submits two tax returns, one personal and one corporate, which ends up showing a low personal gross income...we had an RFE on the I485 and had to send more evidence of income. We sent in bank statements and such and received the interview letter and consequently I was also approved on for my EAD. In the interest of remaining consistent (and since whatever we sent in seemed to work), I would like to give the interviewer a photocopy of the I864 and evidence we already submitted. I guess my question is, can I do this or did others fill out and sign a new I864 to submit at the interview?

thanks

The interviewer will have a copy of everything that you ever sent in your file. If you want to be absolutely sure - yes you can do another one and take it with you in case its asked for. Most interviews they do not ask for any docs that they already have; just new or additional docs or if the info has changed from when you filed. Good Luck
