My life update

Hi All,

It's been a while since I've been on VJ, thought I'd update anyone who's interested!

Actually, there's not much to update (boring, I know!) removal of conditions is coming up, so I'm sure I'll be back on here for that to gather some info. I've just sent my passport and the outrageous fee to Washington for renewal. Hopefully I did everything right and it will be returned soon.

A few months ago I decided it was time to get a job. I applied for a job I've always wanted to do and got it. I'm now a 9-1-1 dispatcher in training and loving it! My accents definately a novelty, but I'm sure that'll wear off eventually. Not used to this early morning #######, but I'm learning!

Glad to see some of the old names still around :)

Hiii.

Glad to hear your life is going well! I don't know you but still :D

I know somebody who is a 911 dispatcher only he's on the night shift. I think he likes it a good deal, says it's rewarding. It seems like a rollercoaster job though...he says a lot of the night it's just people goofing around, not much going on. That you wouldn't belief some of the crazy goofy things people call in as "emergenices." But then you get that serious call where you seriously help some people, or a really sad call too, etc. :( So yeh sounds like definately a good job if hopefully not too sad and much to deal with. And you're gonna be a big help so

If you get anyone to stop saying "Aaahh please send help my leg" to say "...where are you from?" then maybe that's good xD Distract them from pain :P
