NVC case # assigned & feeling anxious!!

salaam & hello to all VJr's

I have read the NVC flowchart and almost all the forums that are dealing with the NVC, but I am a bit confused.....

Ok, so we have a case # assigned from NVC .....now what?? Can I have my husband go ahead and send an email to NVC saying that he would like for me to be choice of agent or do we have to wait for NVC to let us know it has been generated?? I guess that is where my confusion comes in at I am feeling a bit overwhelmed ...sorry

I just don't want to sit around and twiddle my thumbs if there is something that I can be doing now. I have called to get my 2007 tax forms sent and I already have my 04, 05 & 06 tax forms ( I called a few months ago for those transcripts) , so that I can work on my AOS I 864. Also, my grandparents have offered to be our co-sponsor and do i also have to pay $70 for their forms as well or is that just $70 one flat fee??

Also, I read somewhere.....that NVC is updated on Tuesdays and was there any other day as well??

I have called the automated system this morning and it says.......Case # assigned ISL ***** on March 5th and within 6-8 weeks forms would be sent to my husband. So, that is where our status is now......waiting....

Anywho.... I would appreciate any help.

You need to keep calling the NVC until they say that form DS-3032 and the AOS bill has been generated. You should never send them any form or documentation until they ask for it or this will delay the process.
