My fiancee's visa expires at the end of April of this year. We have already been married here. Is there any other requirment we must have met before it expires. I know we should be filing for adjustment of status, but is that required before her visa expiration?

Thanks

No, the only requirement for k1 visa is that you must get married in 90 days of your entry to US, and you do it. You can file AOS when you want. If you want to start to work you need to file AOS for get the employment authorization, at least for me, it is the most important thing for now.

Just to clarify that marriage w/in 90 days is a requirement if only if you came with a K-1 visa...not sure about the other visas. You posted in the K-1 forum, but you have no timeline or other info in your profile, so I'm not sure if your fiancee/wife came here w/ a K-1 visa. If yes, then you're good to go as malego 77 posted...if not, you may want to do a little more research depending on your wife's specific visa.

Good luck,

-P
