husband and i went to our interview today at st. louis, mo. we got there at 8.55am, 35 mins before the interview. we just waited for 15 mins max then my name was called. we followed the IO and make us both swear. she asked for our IDs (gave her my state ID & passport, hubby gave his DL) then started asking if either of us got arrested, basically questions from the form I-485. the only personal question asked was how and where we met. she asked for supporting evidence of our marriage. we brought out our album, my husband's car insurance with my name on it and joint bank accounts. we set it on her table but she didn't even bother to look at it! after reading our file, she made us sign about the conditional permanent residence and that we have to lift conditions 90 days before it expires..

BUT-

she gave us an RFE. she needs an updated copy of my vaccinations - I-693a (my last hep B shot will be on may) and should be signed by the civil surgeon, fingerprints from the local police dept (apparently,my fingerprints were rejected because the ridges were too miniscule to even register - ugh) and since my mother in law is a joint sponsor, we just sent her birth certificate with the package initially, forgetting that her birth cert was in her maiden name and that everything else (pay stubs, name on the I-864a) was in her married name). suffice it to say, we forgot to send her marriage certificate.

anyways, we'll try to get all of these together. the IO officer said that as soon as these docs are received, i'll be getting the green card..

i'm just glad the hard part's done... what a relief..

congrats, you should easily be able to get a civil surgeon to do the supplemental. Make sure you get it in a sealed envelope and when looking for a CS call around, the pricing can vary by a lot.
