question about G-325A form...

Can anyone help? My fiance is Latino and we are not sure of how he should fill in the final box of the G-325A form where it says,

Applicant:

Be sure to put your name and Alien Registration Number in the box outlined by heavy border below

Where it says Family Name, he wants to put both his last names. Should he just use one--his father's? Or is it okay for Latinos to use both their family names?

Be sure to write the name EXACTLY as it appears in his bith certificate/ ID......a little confussion may cause a big mess go according to the identification papers he has. However, if you have gone through some changes in your name you should provide a cout decree from the registro civil about that and the cause for the change of name. If the paper is in Spanish it should be translated and notarized.....I know...I know...its a real pain in the ##### but what wont be do for love......
