We are planning our next visit for later this year. Last year we rented an apartment in a condotel with a long stay rate, but we weren't happy with the location. Can anyone make a good recommendation for an apartment in Makati near Greenbelt or Glorietta in the $50/day range for a 31 night stay?

Hello - I don't think you'll be able to find an apartment/condotel near Greenbelt and Glorietta with a $50 rate per day. Normal cost within the vicinity is $65++. My husband and I stayed at Asian Mansion which is just walking distance to the malls.

However, if you would really want to get a place with $50/day budget then i would suggest you look for a place within Makati Avenue area. Try Citadel Inn or Durban Inn. It's not as good as the ones located in Greenbelt and Glorietta but it's liveable... I think :)

We stayed at Citadel last year. We were unhappy with the location and facilities.

I'm thinking more like the apartments here: http://makaticondorentals.com/default.aspx

I was mainly looking for other choices.

The rate at Citadel was only about $40/day for stays over 21 days for a 1 bedroom apartment.

If anyone knows of any others, I'd like to hear about them. I can do hotel searches from hotel sites on my own and that's not what I'm looking for.
