Congratulations!! :dance::dance: yes you have your EAD now and your SO can look for work!!! :star: When i applied for AP i had no status online at all for it and no updates and then it just arrived in the mail one day too. So it does seem to happen sometimes!! :star: once again congrats!! :thumbs:

Hey everyone, just a quick update! We got a RFE a few weeks ago (December 30) due to my fingerprints being taken twice and still being unreadable. So we had to get the local police department to write a letter to say that I have no criminal record in the state of Kansas. I sent this back to USCIS the other day!

Hey guys. My husband is Samoan and his visa is going through the New Zealand consulate. He has been back and forth to New Zealand through this whole process. We are not actual New Zealanders but it doesn't look like I belong anywhere else on this site. My husbands visa interview was refused and sent back for administrative review in August 2009. I've been in this process since the end of 2008 and my husband still can't come home.

:wow: not long to go now. How exciting!! :thumbs: Have you set a wedding date etc? Totally agree with Kim when she said it was one of the hardest things to do. Thank goodness for texting, emails, chat etc to keep in touch instantaneously. I don't know how i would have survived without them! Its not the same as being face to face but it makes you just that little bit more closer to them in real time :yes:

Hey everyone,

By the looks of it most of you went the K1 way, but I was wondering if anyone knew what I need to be sending to my wife for the NVC stage. We're still at USCIS, so the petition is probably still at least a month away from reaching the NVC, but I wanted to get everything ready and sent to her early so that there's no hold up when it finally gets there.

From what I understand Auckland is one of the Appointment Post NVC Processing countries, and I need to send a copy of my Birth Certificate, and Police records, but should I be sending her anything else?
