I applied for my SSN card today... waited 2 weeks so their system was updated.. which it was :innocent:.. It was a pc of cake. Shld get the card in 2 wks.. She gave me 'authorised to work with DHS's permission - which I guess is the EAD... Sweet, so I do not have to get the status changed..

Also got my militay IDs for being an Infantryman's wife and the credit cards (so am added on all his accts :devil: and have a savings one of my own) :lol::lol:

Same here! I applied for SSN on Mar 28th. I am waiting for my SSN card before I apply for bank account and credit card.

Cool!! How are the wedding preps going?? Where is everybody?? This thread has died down :angry::angry: Did cjindia and Harpreet fix up a wedding date??

We are planning to have a low affair court wedding. Then go to temple and then have a small gathering. No idea about cjindia and Harpeet's wedding date.

This thread is getting less active because many have moved to the next phase of the journey. That's why I started a new thread AOS, EAD & AP for April & May filing . We all can group again there.
