CFO Questions

I am aware the CFO requirement consists of two parts.

1. Guidance and Counseling Seminar

2. Attain a CFO sticker to be placed inside the passport/visa.

My question, can both be accomplished at the Manila CFO location. This is our preferred method.

Or will my fiancé have to go to PRISM in Malate for the Guidance and Counseling Seminar then to the CFO location for the sticker.

Also, is this the correct fee schedule:

1. Guidance and Counseling Seminar – P250

2. CFO Registration – P400

I couldn't find the topic where somebody said you can do both in Manila CFO. All I know is if you'll do the seminar in PRISM, the sticker will be at Pres. Quirino Highway, which is not so far away. And I believe you are correct about the fees. Maybe you can poke around here: www.cfo.gov.

Good luck!

if in Manila, counselling and stamping would have to be done in two different locations. i believe counselling will be in PRISM near DLSU. for the sticker/stamp you would need to go to the CFO office in Quirino cor. South Superhighway.

i think its only in Cubao (SMEF-COW) where you can have your counselling and stamping done without the need to commute to another location.

 yup! you have the right fees.

I think Manila is the main CFO office. Claudeth did hers in Cebu because it was more convenient for her

He was actually referring St Mary's as the Manila CFO... So to answer his question, yes, his fiancee can do seminar and get the sticker there.

You don't have to open the brown envelope. Just take out your passport. K-1 visa holder is not required for the Immigrant visa summary on the seminar. Just attend the seminar and you'll learn what to do in the CFO.

YOu can also attend the seminar ahead of time (without the visa). Just bring your NBI clearance, BC, CENOMAR, valid ID's, photo of you and your fiance and 250pesos for the seminar fee.

here's what you need for the CFO registration after the seminar and when you have your VISA and the brown envelope :

Original Passport; Original and photocopy of visa; Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US bound/Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada bound/ Embassy Certification of Eligibility (for Spain bound C visa holders); (NO NEED FOR K-1 VISA HOLDER) Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate; Duly completed emigrant registration form; and Payment of the authorized registration fee.
