VJer's I need your advice. :blush:

I'm compiling an RFE packet, and I need to send documentation in support of info in the affidavits and also correcting mistakes i made in the I-130 packet.

My question is should I send in the original documents? I will be sending in photocopies of the pages of our passports, so they're not getting the originals of those, but what about the other doc's like bank statements, tickets, tenancy agreetment etc.

any ideas? :unsure:

We sent photocopies of everything...no originals, but we have them available if they request to see tham at the interview.

Unless they specifically asked for originals, send copies...you really should keep originals for your records as you will not get this stuff back...and if it gets lost in the post or misplaced along its way you may need to resubmit it!

Thanks for the quick reply, I thought it was copies, just checking to make sure.

Yes, it's a lot more reasonable than the UK process where we had to send original docs, and our passports, which they had for months!

thanks again :thumbs::thumbs:
