Green Card Renewal Question

It's that time again.....Two year GC expires in June and I'm almost done gathering what we need for the renewal 10 year GC and we are filing that next month.

Will the NOA that we get extend my wifes GC for 12 months? Is there a separate letter? Do I need/should make an appointment and get a 551 stamp in her passport?

We are filing in VT and it looks to be about an 11 month wait. Given that we should be filing for citizenship about three months or so after getting the 10 year GC.

Thanks!!!

The NOA1 extends the expiry of the 2-year green card by 12 months. If you travel outside the country while waiting for the approval of the 10-year green card, take the NOA1 with you.
