i am not sure about the birth certificate but for sure with the cenomar they have expiration date...

there u can see the date it was printed in the nso, lower left..below the barcode... after the last 3 number is the year it was printed, then the day last the month... the rest of the number i am not sure it stands for...

God bless!:)

hey i just did research.. abt NSO certified CENOMAR and Birth Cert.. They said that the documents / copies they issue dont have expiration dates, but, if these docs will be used for DFA or Embassy requirements, it should be at least 6mos valid.

i guess i will get another copy  anyweiz, no worries, it will just take 3days-1week to get these..

george called USEM early this morning and was able to speak with Lorraine.. she said that our case is there but no appointment yet. George asked if we could have an early interview date since all of our documents are ready, she said NO. The month of March upto April are already full, so they are looking May as a possible interview schedule. Lorraine told my fiance that they have a new protocol now. Before they can set up appointments but now, it will be their CALL CENTERS. --- this info pissed off my dear love big time! what a smart way to earn money. calling these call centers is too much expensive. even if ur call was not answered, you will be charged still.. and people from call centers are not adjucators, they will still be reading a script. A book of rules from the Immigrant division of USE.

Lorraine said call on "March 14".. George asked why March 14. She replied "because that would be the date we will impose this new rule" i am speaking to you now. this very moment where this new protocol of yours is not yet final. you can STILL stick with the old way by giving me a decision whether i can have an early appointment or not.. geesh!

once I thought USE people are cool, nice, fast and fair. with the stories I read here in VJ on how they spoke to Grace or Lorraine, with no problems. Now I believe that some people are just lucky, and some (like us) are not.. well, looking at the bright side, we are still grateful for having been approved and that our case is already here in USE. at least NVC made us smile after CSC's loooong process.. and now hello USE. pfffft! sucks!

Thanks for the info. I wonder if too many people started to ask for the early appointments becasue they read on here if they call and ask, it will be done. Now it screws everything up for the rest of us. Oh well, what can we do, we are a slave to the USEM and do whatever they tell us. This is just more of a test for us to be with our loved ones.
