I am going from glasgow to london... I rather stupidly agreed to a morning appointment which made matters more difficult. But I will call tomorrow to see if I can get an afternoon appointment.

But not only is it difficult finding a way to get there on time, but I don't know how long the medical will take so I'm unsure of how to go about booking the return journey.

Anyone any tips on this?

It's 13th of February at 10:10am (for the time being).

Hi KJC,

I travelled down on the overnight bus from Buchanan St bus station .. i got there at 6.30am had breakfast near the station, got subway into oxford st....

Got bus back at night.. it left at 9.00 i think.. jeez i cant remember and it was only last june..how sad am i???

so if you can do this ,you can still keep your morning appointment. I also spent the time checking out where the embassy was and finding quickest route to it. Its actually a cheap way to do it. The bus company is called Silver line coaches form East Kilbride. I,ll double check for you as my memory aint wot it used to be...

Hope this is of use to you and GOOD LUCK

Thanks, that's a big help.

Only problem is the long wait between medical and bus home to glasgow, but at least it's cheap and gets the job done!

P.S. The coach company in East Kilbride Silver Choice Travel. East Kilbride is very near me, so it's a handy point to leave and arrive :)

I know weedebz has taken both coach and bus to her medical and interview from Glasgow - her interview is today so she won't be on the boards until Wednesday but I am sure she could help. I think she booked a cheap hotel as well. :)

Got an 'apex return' East Kilbride to London Victoria Coach station which is just a 10 minute taxi from the medical. Will have time for breakfast :D

Only cost £24! Beats a £170 flight and then a mad dash to get there and back on time.

Now I just need to hope I get my new passport and vaccination record before the 13th... The passport should be here before Thursday this week. God knows about my vaccination records though...
