please help..DS157 question: Father's name

Hello my fellow Vj'ers..

I'm here again asking for help but this time i am doing this for a friend of mine who has a K1 application and K2 for her son.She's an unwed mom so she was confused what she's going to put under her son's ds 157 regarding the father's name.Does she has to put the name of the father even if they are not married or she will just put it N/A or None?

When her petitioner submitted their documents for the application, he put it unknown.Would it matter when she is going to be interviewed already by the consul? like when the consul is going to ask her why they put it unknown for the father's name, what would she say?

I hope anyone of you guys will reply to this coz my friend is really confused about this.

Please, any advice and response to this will be highly appreciated..
