once k1 application approved with this help speed up embassy appiontment

We are still waiting for k1 application approval but my questions once it is sent will we get an appointment faster if he takes everything into the embassy himself or do we need to wait until the embassy contacts him????? we filed and have been in the system since sept........so i feel we are at least getting close and as everyone else lol i want to try to find away to get the last process after k1 application approved here in the states done faster in his country........ :( last time i saw him was last year in jan......

I had almost everything ready for my visa interview (which is tomorrow) long time before it was scheduled. Our petition was approved Jan 7 and the Embassy recieved it on Jan23. You just try to check how long it usually takes for an approved petition to reach the Embassy in your country and what's the procedure you have to follow after that. I know that in some countries, as soon as they have the petition, they send you an imformation packet, you have to collect all appropriate documents, and let the Embassy know about it. Then, they schedule the interview. In my case, I didn't have to do all this. I just called them and scheduled the interview (since I had everything ready beforehand.) It must be something on India Portal here on VisaJourney, too. I'm sure there is something under the 'Embassy Info'section as well. Check it out! And good luck! My fiance also filed I-129F in early Sept. I'm sure you'll get your approval any day now:)

I just got to know that my case has bn recvd at the consulate. I called them instead of wait for them to send out my Pkt 3 to save time. Will also go and submit DS-230 today to save more time. It helps to get ur documents ready as soon as u receive the approval notice from USCIS. That way you can follow up on your case than wait for them to tell you.

My advice, start getting the docs ready and then follow up yourself.

i keep checking the email......and he is also getting very disturbed it has taken so long....

but i know that its almost finished at least the usa side of it for the application approval i see many

are starting to trickle in each one i see new gives me hope ours will be just around the corner

by the way con graduations to everyone that has had approval of the k1 and also to those that have their visa
