However... the stupid letter they sent is no help in some areas so I need an answer and I need them quick because I have to tell my boss today so they can set up a room booking in Vancouver at our Airport hotel (I work for a hotel at the front desk). It needs to be done asap because we're entering our busy season.

It says not to make firm travel plans until a visa has been issued, which I'm assuming means I'm going to be there for a while. Does anyone know the average time it takes from interview to receiving the Visa in the Vancouver Consulate? That way I can tell my boss.

I already emailed the Consulate but they haven't replied to me and I'm betting they won't before I have to go to work this afternoon.

Also, it says "bring required documents including medical examination results, and a valid passport" but thats all it says. Any suggestions on what exactly I should bring? I already thought of phone records, emails (didn't think to keep many of them though, but I'll print the ones I did), chat records (though I don't have many since this is a fairly new computer and we usually talk on the phone), pictures, things from our wedding (like the invitation), plane ticket receipts... any other ideas on what I should bring?

Is there anything I should know before I go in?

Thanks so much.
