My husband is currently in Pune(Mumbai) regarding his job for almost a year now. But his original home town is in Delhi. And he has taken his passport from Delhi. So, from where all should he get the PCC. My understanding is from Delhi, Pune and for the passport clearence from Delhi. Let me know if I am wrong. Thanks a lot.

He can get the PCC from the passport office in Delhi, and an additional PCC from local police office in Pune if he has proof of residency (like bank account, etc.). If there is no proof of residency, they won't give him the PCC.

My husband stayed in Hyderabad for 2 years but he had no proof of residency so he couldn't get a PCC. He just got the PCC from the passport office where he had his passport issued (Visakhapatnam) and from the local police office in his home village. That was sufficient and no one asked for a Hyd PCC.
