Since your profile and timelines are incomplete I will assume you entered on a K-1 visa.

K-1 visa is voided as soon as you enter the country, it is a 1 time use visa.

You only need passport to use an ID, and it can be expired before AOS interview.

Since your profile lacks details I cannot direct you to where you can get the passport re-newed.

You should be fine, again passport does not need to be valid, it can expire before AOS interview.

Simple, Example: Passport requirement for K-1 visa is that the passport needs to be valid only 6 months past visa interview, since K-1 visa is valid 6 months, the visa holder can travel to the USA, and the passport expires shortly after entry, the passport only needs to be valid for travel in and out of the USA, it does not need to be valid while living in the USA.

In order to get a driver's license virtually all states require SSN, and most require evidence of legal presence, (Green-Card, OR EAD Card)

You should have filed for EAD when you applied for AOS, I-765 is application for EAD, it is free if AOS was filed after July 30. You can apply for EAD after filing for AOS, include a copy of AOS NOA1 letter.

Again, passport is still a good photo ID, it is just not valid for travel.
