Marla called the embassy this morning, they told her we don't have to schedule another interview, just a blue sheet interview. Which we should get one within 2 weeks.

Marla said the woman who done the interview was very rude and did'nt believe that we had a true marriage because I married her the second time I went to Jamaica. But Marla gave it to her and the lady finally said everything will be ok just bring proof of I-130 that it was filed. The lady even had to write that in on the blue paper there was no check box for that. She was just trying to find a reason to prolong this. Anyways, hopefully i will Marla within 4-5 weeks.

They kill me who's marriage isn't real don't have problems as much as those who's marriage is for real. the nerve of them. I married my husband the 3rd time I went to visit him what the going to tell me that's was 2 soon. BS!!!!!!!!

Just stay strong!!!!!!!!!

Yeah! Who is she to say that you didn't just love your now wife so much that you wanted to be right by her and marry her soon?! This is sooooo stupid and a cultural thing. Not everyone has to wait 2 years and date, then move in for a year to finally realize they should get engaged, and stay that way for ANOTHER year and then.....oh yeah....GET MARRIED. Geesh!! I married my husband after 10 months of knowing him, and only the 3rd time visit to see him. i woulda married him within 5 months if i could've afforded to get over there earlier.

Exactly.....visa fraud. Plus, let's face it, it's come up again and again when couples have had problems on this site, that they didn't know each other well enough from the beginning.

We have had the worst luck and experience with the embassy, I know I married my wife on the 2nd visit but its true love and i think for any marriage to last for what we go through with the waiting and still be together and in love is a marriage that will make it. I have had a total of 4 visits with my wife in the last year with one of the visits lasting a month, so I can say i know my wife well and I do know I have a lot to learn, but we are very compatible.

What sucks, Jason, is that this has not been the case with everyone before us. That is the problem with all who come after.....someone always ruins it for us.

Hi Jason,

My cousin's interview last year lasted about 2.5 hours for no reason at all. When she asked what if things were missing, the CO told her she has to make sure. It's not only how a person answers the questions but your demeanor and expressions plays a part in it. She had to remember where she was, so she didn't lose her compusure. A lot of the questions the CO asked were uncessary and repeated 3 or more times. By cousin and her husband were married 4 months after knowing each other, but during the process he had been to Jamaica 9 times to see her and had a house built there. I don't know how much more proof you need. After being interviewed for 2.5 hours by two different people she was finally told she was approved. She said, she had no time to be happy, she was too angry. How is fraud determined? How makes the final call?

The CO may have seen something in the couples past and had doubts about it.

Kingston is a high fraud Embassy due to visa fraud and having a high number of deportations. That' why we always recommend the USC to attend the interview. We noticed the CO seem to give the interviewee a harder time if the USC isn't present sometimes. And if the USC can't make the interview....please make sure they have EVERYTHING (on the list and more..especially the approval letter) and it's organized.....
