passport renewal thru online

guys,call me tanga but it really happens to me...eversince b4 i never get any government documents thru falling in line..tamad talage me to go early and fall in line for 2-3hours...i used to get a fixer to do it for me.

so,i applied for renewal of passport online for my 4 year old son.that was last Thu Jan 23 that they picked the documents and on Fri afternoon,DFA Manila called me and told me that the appearance is to be held in DFA Manila,i was shocked so i told them to return all of the documents coz i will renew it in Cebu..the lady told me that by Tue. Jan 29 i will be recieving back my documents...i checked online and its already arrived in Cebu last Mon morning and its already out for delivery...so today, i was like crazy to keep on tracking where the documents go...i called the DFA Manila,for hundreds times but no reply...i called the 2GO customer service in Manila and Cebu...and finally at around 5pm,i was relieved...my documents arrived here at home but the refund (P900) i have to wait 2-3 days...i paid P1300 but i paid the courier charges w/c is P400...bad!

well,another charge to experience...hehehehe!

anyways,i will try to get this passport renew by my own tomorrow..any suggestion whats the best time to go to DFA Cebu so i can be away from falling on line and wait there.pls pls pls advice ur lazy co VJ'rs. thanx

I can only say it is probably much easier to do it in the Philippines then trying to do it here. It was a nightmare dealing with the Filipino embassy in L.A. to get Claudeth's passport renewed.

i can only speak for Manila, its usually in the afternoons, where there are less of the crowd.
