My family has just recieved thier visas after an Embassy officer reversed thier previouse position about not allowing us to have the K 3 type.

They wanted us to wait for the CR1 but my daughters 130 was not approved so she would not be allowed to go with us. I protested this but was told the decision was already made.

They then told us my wife would interview in mid January. Three weeks later when I asked about the actual date they sent email saying there would be NO interviews until March. The reason was they were just too busy with schedualed interviews.

I wrote again & asked them to consider the approval date on my case.

We were stunned to learn they changed their mind on visa types & interview dates. We were allowed to interview whithin one weekof my email.

I hope people can see from this case that it is possible in difficult situations to get this done.

Just keep the faith.
