Does anybody here know if the address in your passport has to have the same address with your current address if someone was to go for visa interview in Jakarta? I have my passport expired July 2009 but I now moved which it means, my address in my passport isn't the same address to where I now live. My question is, can I use my current passport if I was to go for visa interview at embassy, or I will need a new passport with the current address I have? I am a bit confused. Has anybody here experience this?

As far as I know, it doesn't matter. As far as I know, my wifes passport doesn't even show her address in Jakarta.

You may want to renew your passport anyway, since you will be using it as your primary form of ID until you have your green card.

My passport shows my address on official notes on last page. I do not think it will be a problem for the consulate because the note is in Indonesian & I guessed just note from the issuing office showing your official residency.

When I registered with the Indonesian consulate in Chicago, they use this official note pages to put stamp stating change of address & change of residency.
