My fiance is from Ecuador, and on the guayaquil website it says they have already sent him the Packet 4 about a month ago.......but it still hasn't arrived. I called the consulate in guayaquil and they said i could just download the packet 4 from the website. Do you think this is form the Guayaquil consulate website? or another one?

Also..........my mom is our co-sponsor......Does her tax returns need to be notarized? We have a letter from her bank, a letter from her employer, and her tax returns, along with the entire form (which we did notarize), but I didn't realize we had to notarize the tax returns.....is this absolutely necesary?

I little late the answer, hopefully it will help.

You can download from the website of the consulate in Guayaquil. Be aware that some forms are not updated. There is the DS-156 (?) if i am not wrong that has to has be bar coded. Make sure you get the barcoded one. If you do not get the updated forms, use the ones they have. I download the new ones in english from USCIS and not problem.

My husband did not notarized any of those papers. Just in case recheck the instructions. I remember the I-864 did not need them (for adjustment of status). I think you need the I-134 for the K1 visa.

Good luck in the interview.
