Have Not Received Packet 3

Hi everyone! I am at the edge of freaking out as I have not received my packet 3 yet. My fiancee who is in the US said that he received a copy that the US embassy in Manila sent. He scanned the appointment letter and emailed it to me. Is it okay if I just print that out and do the medical exam?

I downloaded a packet from the embassy site and most of the requirements are done but I still need to have the letter right? I read somewhere that when I do my medical I have to present the appointment letter(which I don't have at this point and my Medical Exam is on Jan 30). I am thinking to get an earlier exam just in case I needed to do more test.

My interview is scheduled on the 7th of February and every day that I do not have the packet with me makes me more worried.

And oh how do I add a timeline? I would like to put ours. :help:

Hopefully someone else will be along that can advise on packet three...but I would suggest phoning DOS, NVC or your embassy.

07/20/07 confirmed delivered by US Postal Service

8/23/07 No NOA1 !!!!

8/23/07 phoned USCIS (told they can't help until after 90 days)

8/23/07 contacted bank to get copy of Cx check...illegable...noc WAC#

tried for weeks to get actual check....not possible, had to wait the 90 days for info from USCIS

10/17/07 Phoned USCIS, got thru (!), got WAC number and NOA1 date!!!!

07/26/07 NOA1 (never recieved hard copy, was promised a copy would be sent)

11/01/07 Ordered copy of "long form" UK B.C.

11/05/07 Recieved B.C. (Wish USCIS was that fast!)

11/09/07 Submitted request for UK police records

12/04/07 APPROVED By USCIS NOA2 letter sent (or so they claim)

12/15/07 Police certificate recieved

12/28/07 Called NVC, not in system

01/04/08 petition forwarded to London

01/12/08 packet 3 received *rubs eye in disbelief* Speed and efficiency, can it be?

01/18/08 HARD COPY OF NOA2 ARRIVED...seems the snail made a wrong turn somewhere.

01/28/08 Returned packet 3 to London Embassy

02/12/08 Medical completed...no problem.

02/13/08 Packet 4 received from London Embassy

03/03/08 Embassy Interview

03/06/08 Visa Arrived....Lovely to finally see it even if it is a bit drab...after 8 month you think they'd have sprung for some gold foil or at least a COLOR photo?

TODAY...he's here! He's in the US! Hurrah!

Hello Acecard/Divine. I guess the first thing to address is that the Manila Embassy does not send a packet 3, only packet IV. You can either have your spouse send the Interview letter or you can make a copy of the Visa Interview Appointments website with you medical and interview schedule showing. This can be done by entering your Manlia case number. Here is the link:http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp

You can phone St. Lukes Extension Clinic (SLEC) and request a packet pickup. The copy of your online appointment will get you inside.

Everything but the appointment letter can be downloaed from the USEM website.

The only documents needed from the packet IV for a K3 visa besides the interview letter are the directions and maybe 1 DS-157. One DS-157 will be supplied from the bank with a stamp showing you paid for the visa fee. The two DS-156 forms musts be downloaded online with the barcode. The I-134 will be supplied by your spouse.

Sheriff Ulings Manila Embassy K1 Visa Guide in the philippines forum has a lot of good information. The process for a K1 is very similar to a K3 with only a few differences.

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony
