When I have my CFO GC Seminar in Prism last Oct, it went on for less time than I expected. I was in by 3:30pm, and went out by 4:30pm. It only took an hour, and there were only 3 of us in the US room so the staff decided not to show the video clip, and she just summarized it to us.

As for the counseling, it didn't take too long too. She just asked me when and where did I met my husband. And when she found out that we were together since high school before he migrated, she smiled and made me sign the papers already.

Normally it wouldn't take long. It depends on the number of participants and the mood of the staff.

Just be truthful, smile, be confident with your answers. You CAN do it!

It's not really a pain in the neck... believe me. And even if it is, you have no choice but to go there, otherwise you cannot leave the country. If my memory serves me right, the guidance and counseling took at least an hour and a half and the registration/getting the sticker (stamp) took at least an hour or so, depending on the number of applicants on the day you will go there. I think that day that I got my stamp, they had a power interruption from 10:00am to 3:00 pm that's why some of them who were there to get the stamp (same day of their flights) had to miss their planes because of that brownout. Having said that, you may want to get everything done ahead of time, before your flight.

Buenas swerte!

Good Stuff jyz.. You make me feel comfortable with your advices...

Me and my wife were childhood friends from when we were toddlers.. I migrated to the US then came back to visit Philippines when I became a teen. Met her again, hanged out for couple of months, Courted, fell in love, got married, and now we have a beautiful daughter.

Tell me the counseling lady won't appreciate that?
