I have read that if you use your EAD whilst your I-485 is pending it can have a consequence for approval, is this true?

If you file taxes as a non resident this may affect greencard approval?

Does anyone have any info on this? I am so confused again!

Thankies,

Missy

The EAD is ment to be used while you are waiting for approval..... you do not need EAD once you have been approved for Greencard.... why would you want to file taxes as a non-resident.... you would be better filing as a resident and file jointly with your spouse...
