Hello everyone!

:energetic: Time to share the GOOD NEWS! :energetic:

Early today I went to USEM for my interview. The whole interview went smooth, no hassles. The ladies/staff from the finger scanning area are nice, the Pre-Screener wasn't that strict and speaks Tagalog and the Consul Interview was the best part! :star:

Here are some of the questions I encountered:

Pre-Screener:

1. What's the story behind you having two last names? (my last name is hyphenated, eg: MYLASTNAME-JAY'SLASTNAME)

2. Who is your petitioner?

3. When and where did you meet your husband? (I said way back in high school before they migrated)

4. How did he entered US? (thru family petition)

5. Do you have a job? (None at this moment)

6 .Where were you're last job? (411)

7. What you husband's job (I said he works for a casino in LB, CA)

After that he asked me if I have photos with him, I gave him my clearbook of photos..

And he asked if i have Love Letters, so I gave him some, dated 2002-2007, and I also handed him my folder containing Proof of Continuous Relationship (joint acct, remittances, tel.bills, etc.)

He returned to me my husband BC and my Police Clearance w/c were previously submitted to NVC.

WHEW! He didn't asked for any financial docs, just photos, love letters, and some proof! I have like a 3-kilo docs with me, I think Im over prepared!

Consul:

1. Who is your petitioner?

2. How long do I know my petitioner? (Since HS, 1997 before they migrated)

3. Oh you're classmates (Yes)

4. You know his address?

He looked at my clearbook containing photos. Gee, some of those photos was taken since we we're in out teenage years!

ANG PANGET KO PA NUN!

I put some captions on the pictures beforehand, and he reads it loud!

I think the part that he liked most is the one shot that we are having our facial and whitening boost before the wedding, he asked me, "Did he had his facial too?", I said "yes" and we both laughed! But not that LOL-kinda-laugh.

He pointed to my mask-covered-face on the pic, and joked "Is this him?, hehe, just kidding" he said.

Haler! Mukha ba akong lalake?, i thought.:devil:

He faced on his computer, didn't bother looking at any other docs thn photos, typed something, gathered my papers/docs to the folder again, and congratulated me! I was told to wait outside for my name will be called again for releasing.

AT LAST!

The journey for us was hard, I can say. My interview was delayed for 8weeks (actually 10weeks  ) due to the medical screening i have to take. Our endless night of thinking, of waiting, of crying!

BUT DUH! My GOD is ALIVE, he WORKS MIRACLES, HE IS MY SOLUTION!!

We, Jay and Jyz, thank our VJ family for helping us and remains friends that you can count on anytime of the day.

Thanks to:

My HUSBAND, ALYBU PO NEYNEY! ANSWERED PRAYER PO TAYO!

Thanks RoseRick!

I didnt asked for Visa Pick-up, cause i wont leave yet. My husband is going back here in PI for vacay and to pick me up in Feb.

I think they didnt asked me for Doc.Ver. because my original interview date is nov.20 last year. Maybe I wasnt under the new Doc.Verification thingy.

The Lady from the Releasing window just told me it is not needed, nyek, i showed her pa the deposit slip.

Good Luck on you Interview. You'll be in my prayers!

CONGRATULATIONS, KIDDO!! Im thrilled to hear your news, as you know.

Give God a hand of praise, and remember " Mom knows Best " ! ;)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
