hi to all my vj family,

i just wanna ask if its really important to go to CFO or the counseling? if i choose not to go through it is it really goin to be a problem regarding my visa or my upcoming flight to SF? can i just get a sticker for my passport/visa instead?

need some real answers bout this matter i know 4 sure some of us has experiences of not goin through CFO...hope ul share your side of story...

hi u really have to attend the CFO seminar before they stamp the sticker on ur passport

it was a great experience .... u'll gonna meet new friends

Apply for SSN.

June 19, 2008 Applied for California ID

June 21, 2008 Received interview letter for Adjustment of status.

July 30, 2008 Interview in Sacramento @ 10:15am, Wednesday.

August 4, 2008 Card ordered production.

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

May 9, 2010 Sent package to CSC

May 13, 2010 Received NOA1 (containing the notice of 1 year extension of residency)

July 29, 2010 Received BIOMETRICS Letter for AUGUST 20 Appointment (After 83 days from filling I-751)

Aug 20, 2010 Went to scheduled biometrics but unfortunately the USCIS system doesn't accept my fingerprints.

Sept 20, 2010 Repeat Fingerprints.

Sept 24, 2010 Card ordered production.

Yap u have to undergo the seminar before getting the CFO sticker when u have ur visa , just be sure u know all the info of ur bf like landline nub , cellphone , office nub , surname of his parents , zipcode , address of ur bf coz they will ask u that and when u answered straight and fast they will not give a hard time , coz most of time they being strict when u dont know the info.

CFO Guidance and Counseling is mandatory... you cannot get the sticker/stamp without it. And without the CFO sticker/stamp and certificate, you cannot leave the country even if you have the visa, ticket, etc. You can do the seminar/counseling and getting the stamp/sticker all in one day especially if you have your visa.

10/17/2011 - Certificate of Naturalization in the mail -- OFFICIALLY DONE!
