Can tell most of us are Stateside now... even weekends aren't normally *this* quiet :lol:

It was Father´s Day weekend ;)

Morning everyone. I got an email from CRIS last night to say that my EAD has been approved and card production ordered. Guess this means I'll have to get a job now. :huh::help:

Congratulations Muffin :D:dance::dance::dance:

Hey Marta. How's your AOS/EAD/AP coming along? You heard anything yet?

Freaking out now - Spoke to Jeremy the last time before he gets here... next time I see him will be forever... and then I will be leaving...and I am so scared ><

Have fun together :D:dance::dance::dance: Time for you to be happy so don´t worry :D(F)

I know it might still be early to be freaking out about it. I will have to fly in about 2 months from now. That should give USCIS plenty of time for them to send me my AP. But I guess it being over 90 days now is making me suspicious and nervous that something is wrong or that something got lost and that there won´t be enough time to get a replacement or something. Also I promised myself not to get any plane tickets before I receive the AP so I´m still waiting and I´d love to already get the tickets.

Marta - at least you didn't already book the tickets so you can change your plans a little :) I am sure it is nothing to worry about - just USCIS being lame as usual :(

This time tomorrow Jeremy will be here! I can't wait! I have been planning a surprise Bachelor Party for him via my brother because he never had one before :) Means I have to surrender him for this Saturday evening but I figure if it makes him happy... :):luv:

Lotsa happy stuff for you to look forward to :D

So we called the customer service and once again they proved themselves :P It´s still just a misinformation line. First guy couldn´t even find the AP number in the system so he transfered us somewhere else and the next person spoke bad English. She found the AP in the system, but couldn´t really understand our questions so we figured we´d try tomorrow someone else cuz arguing with a goat gives you no information and it makes the goat angry. Only info that came out of her was that they are now working on aplications from February. Yeah right. :bonk:

It's great - very tongue in cheek :lol:

Ok - bedtime for me - I am leaving my puter on all night in my age old tradition of tracking Jeremy's flight, so I can see where he is if I wake up :)

Is there something about the 90 day mark I don´t know? :unsure:

This is on the I-765 instructions;

If you have not received a decision within 90 days of receipt by USCIS of a properly filed EAD application or within 30 days of a properly filed initial EAD application based on an asylum application filed on or after January 4, 1995, you may obtain interim work authorization by appearing in person at your local USCIS District Office. You must bring proof of identity and any notices that you have received from USCIS in connection with your application for employment authorization.

Ok - bedtime for me - I am leaving my puter on all night in my age old tradition of tracking Jeremy's flight, so I can see where he is if I wake up :)

Nighty night. Have fun tomorrow. ;)

Hi everyone!

Just a quick pop in. Scott is here. :wub: We have been insanely busy. I'm not exactly sure why I chose to move him down, get married, and file for his green card all in the same week! :blink: So we are running around taking care of tons of details, but it's good.

I also posted this thread last night, if any of you have any thoughts, I would love to hear them:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=134102

Aly, very excited for you today too!

Marta, I really hope you hear something on your AOS stuff. I believe you'll be fine to travel in 2 months, but it must be stressful when the average on VJ is around 60 days and you are quite over that. I hope that doesn't happen to us, as Scott is supposed to be best man in a wedding in early October. I really hope you hear something soon.

Okay, off to take care of a million more things... :lol:
