What I miss the most in Manila and love about the U.S.

I miss :

7.cold shower

You can still take a cold shower!

Hahahahh, I still remember showering in my wife house. Man I can't believe I had to do all that and sometime there was no water at all to shower. WOW, takes me back!! Can't wait to visit again very soon!!

I actually have a video of my husband taking a shower in a Cebu hotel where we forgot to ask if there is hot water, we just needed a hotel near the pier for an early boat ride going to Bohol the following day and oh my, he was jumping up and down. . . it was the funniest thing I've ever seen

You didn't have to bring up the cold showers. The thing i'll miss most is no hot showers for 2 months unless we take a weekend trip and stay at a hotel with hot water. It did learn to get wet, turn off water and soap up completely then rinse it off fast as I could........LOL.

What I love in the USA:

1.cooking using the crockpot

2.no traffic

3.travelling with my husband

4.florida weather

5.swimming pool in our house

6.nfl, especially greenbay and ny giants

7.great hotels

8.homemade bread

9.grilling at home

10.watching a movie on tv and the ability to pause it and even rewind and forward the same, now this feature is awesome!!!

And I want to add what I dont like about America:

Calling the 800 number and have to be on hold forever!!!

Then you'll have to enjoy the Packers and Giants playing football in about 3 degree F weather Sunday evening. I don't get to watch the fun, but I'm OK with that because I"ll be headed to Manila and some things I miss. My wife, her family, san mig light.

I am in Florida so I will be enjoying it on tv. I didnt understand football before I arrived here. I just thought, oh man, what are these men doing hitting each other, hahaha. . but my husband explained and watching the greenbay play to the championship made me understand the game and i love it. . i love both teams, but i hope greenbay wins and make it to the superbowl.

uh oh uh oh!!! i am from milwaukee so naturally i love the packers! we actually had a packer party last saturday at the hospital!! so much excitement!! whenever the packers play, we wear green....8 out of 10 people wear packer stuff on game days! we are so excited about the championship. even if you don't like football but you live in wisconsin, you can't help but love them. people here get crazy when they play!! go to the grocery store, and you see people of all ages wearing packer shirts! on game days you can be assured of short waiting lines at the grocery or anywhere else.

we love the giants too, my in-laws live in NJ.....so i will be fine with whichever team goes on to the super bowl.

that's another thing i miss...the night life in manila!!! roxas boulevard, timog avenue, shangrila zoo, glorietta 4.......podium, megamall!! i can't wait to go back again!!!

anyway i can see the philippines after 5 yrs lol , hopefully we finished in all expenses and paperworks in that time .

Irene, have you been to Daly City, California. It is the Filipino Capital of Calif. They also have Jolibees, there is more opening in Bay Area. When your in Daly City, it may feel a little closer to home, plus it's a good reason to visit San Francisco.

I am the USC, what I liked about PI was the cheap prices for everything and no one begging for money.

What I don't miss is the hot weather, the feeling like I can't breathe and the cold showers.

I also miss my baby.

Angeles is my playground.. Balibago, Clarke, etc..
