Travel to US on B1/B2 visa when I-131 is approved

My mother is planning to travel to US on her 5 years multiple B1/B2 vsia - that she got before my sister applied for her Green card.Now her I-131 is approved and she plans to come to US for 6-8 weeks on her valid visitor visa. My question is, can she visit US on a valid visitor visa while her I-131 is approved.She has not intention to stay her more than 8 weeks and pursue her green card processing....She prefers to do it while in her home country.

Please, answer if you know about it as I dont know the answer and "google" is not helpful

I'm confused. An I-131 is an application for a re-entry permit once you have a green card or advanced parole if awaiting one. Are you talking about an I-130, which is a petition?
