Time to get visa issued after K1 Interview in Bogota

At this time we are preparing for the interview, this will occur in Bogota. We wholeheartedly hope all will go well to the point we would like to purchase a ticket for my fiancee scheduled for three days after the interview, this is to that she does not have to travel to the States on her own and the separation from her family is mitigated.

The paperwork indicates the visa is issued one business day later, however I would like to know what actual experiences are in order to plan accordingly.

Also what are your actual experiences concerning the interview in Bogota, could you share them, we are a bit nervous, other than the paperwork, what is it that presents an issue? your comments will be greatly appreciated

Buying airline tickets, on a projected visa issuance date is risky business from any location. If I were you, plan for success by selecting a flight plan 7-10 days after the projected visa issuance. Unless of course, you purchase a ticket with no penalty for date changes (more expensive). In that case, anything goes.
