For those wanting to know about the 30 days service order (after the 90 day wait)

Well I waited my 90 days for the NOA1 then I put a 30 day service order to try and find my case file. So its January and my 30 days are up with no letter in the mail. I ring USCIS and guess what..........they have no record of my service order and have put another in which doesn't expire until Feb 1.

No offense, but 5 months to see if they even have my petition seems a bit much. Also given the last service order didn't appear to go through I bet 1:1 this one won't either.

So I've resigned myself to making an appoint with an IO next Tuesday. If he/she doesn't help I'll continue to show up every 5 days at 7.30am until someone gives me instructions to resubmit. Maybe they'll get tired of me :/ and give me the extra secret address that allows them to process my petition in 24 hours lol.

Did you get your case number from the canceled check? If so, I wouldn't waste much time waiting for that piece of paper. Maybe for the NO2A. As long as you have your number, your on the waiting list. I don't want to discourage you because it is nice seeing the paper, but it doesn't have much value.

Yeah I wouldn't be bothering with this if it was canceled, but its not and i have no number... They have no clue whats happened to my application.
