I just got an I-797C Notice of action in the mail. It stated that to process the application, uscis must capture my biometrics. I'm informed to go to the local office in Fort Smith AR on Jan. 14 and bring this notice and proof of identification. Has anyone else ever got one of these or know what it's about? Thanks!

I assumed you are here in the US. When you received your NOA for your AOS, you'll receive another NOA for biometrics. You must go to ASC to have your biometrics done in order for USCIS to give you a green card.

Actually, i'm the U.S. citizen. I filed the K3 for my wife who's still in the Philippines. I was'nt sure how to add my timeline to this topic but I sent the I-130 in July and the I-129F in August and received both NOA1's shortly after. We were touched on 9-13, 9-14, and 9-17 and then nothing else until now when I received this strange notice. And, I did send the G325A forms when filing.
