Hey

Sorry to bother you guys with another stupid question.

When I got my K1 Visa I got a letter with it telling me to report to my local DHS office after marrige..

Do they mean the CIS office??

I live in Jefferson City MO and the nearest local office to us is in St.Louis.

Makes no sence to me to call them and let em know "hey guys I am mailing my stuff out now I got married a week ago"...

mmm...

Hey Virgina,

nothing to worry about. I just checked my own stack of papers... you are talking about that white sheet we received in Ffm. upon the visa approval? I never even read through the whole text before... ooops ;) What they are referring to is, that you need to file AOS after marriage, "contact the USCIS", ignore the word local.
